Dogs have always been
part of my life. I
found a picture of our
white keeshond Robby.
I must have been two
at the time. Later on
we had a blue (grey)
keeshond called Trixie,
a Dutch smoushond (?)
also called Trixie, a
black king poodle
Bobet, followed by toy
poodle Lucy, and after
that toy poodle Chico.
He accompanied me when
I left my parents'
home in 1978. Patricia
was born in 1979. Also
she and my son Dennis
have always been
surrounded by dogs.
Mostly our own dogs,
sometimes guests, or
dogs waiting to be
replaced. In 1988 our
first shelties arrived.
And gradually we tried
a litter, and then
another one and that
was the start of our
kennel. In our case we
do not agree with the
word KENNEL though.
The word kennel
suggests dogs outside,
or in the barn. Our
dogs live with us,
inside the house.
In 2003 Patricia
received the
kennelname "Secret
Mystery". This made
things less
complicated.
Especially because she
lives nearby and we
can exchange dogs when
necessary.
Unfortunately it was
not possible to keep
all the members of the
herd at home. Some of
the pups where placed
elsewhere and live in
fostercare. We know
they are being very
well looked after, but
we are sorry that a
dayly cuddle from our
side is not possible.
